Placer Farm and Barn Tour
Sunday, October 13th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at our winery
This is the first year that we will be showcasing our flock of registered American Blackbelly sheep during the Placer Farm and Barn Tour. The winery will also be open for tasting that day. Come by and feed or pet our sheep. Even pre-order a 2014 lamb or two for next spring. Watch out for the rams.

Join us in Auburn, CA for the 20th anniversary of the Auburn Art Walk, Thursday August 8th from 6-9 PM. 6 Wineries including Bear River Winery will be pouring wines for tasting at different venues. Over 20 venues will also have artists from around the region. This is a free tasting event.

Experience the Grape Days of Summer – August 3rd and 4th, 2013
Bear River will hand out a free aroma wheel to help describe wine’s sensory stimulation and provide an opportunity to learn how to detect wine faults. Chicken tacos provided by Pop-Up! Grub Hub Catering. Tasting includes three different wines produced from the same grape and dark chocolate paired with a Late Harvest Barbera. Sample our newly released Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mother’s Day Weekend May 11th and 12th, 12 Noon – 5PM
We will be pouring our Barbera Flight which consists of Barbera Rosé, Barbera, and Late Harvest Barbera.
